Cost codes

Cost codes classify work and cost consistently across time, expenses, WBS, budgets, and accounting integration.

Create each code with a unique source-compatible identifier, descriptive name, group, and active status. Map the code to the correct jobs or WBS structure when required. Job Permissions can restrict which codes a user or employee may use.

Do not create a near-duplicate when an imported code fails validation. First check the source identifier, tenant, group, job mapping, and Integration Log.
