Common page behavior

Most data grids support a combination of search, filters, sorting, paging, column selection, and export. Available actions such as Add, Edit, Delete, Approve, or Post are controlled by your permissions and by the record's current status.

Filters are useful when checking a specific employee, job, date range, or processing state. Clear old filters before concluding that a record is missing.

Status and access

SpaceRivers keeps each tenant's operational data separate and applies role-based access to pages and actions. Job permissions can further restrict the employees, jobs, and cost codes a user can see. Subscription state may limit the workspace to billing and recovery pages until service is restored.

Data dependencies

Operational records depend on setup data. A time entry, for example, may need an employee, job, phase, cost code, rate code, and an open work period. If a field has no selectable values, verify setup and access first.
